VIDEO: Kwekwe businessman who killed 6 speaks out following his arrest

Prominent Kwekwe businessman who recently made headlines after stabbing and killing six people during a murderous rage has spoken out following his arrest.

Kheshow, who runs Kheshow Investments in Redcliff, Kwekwe, said evil spirits had taken charge of his mind when he went on that bloody frenzy where he killed six people and left four others in hospital battling for their lives.

In a video circulating on social media, Kheshow claims that he was being told what to do by the evil spirits throughout the rampage.

“I didn’t know what I was doing. Voices were telling me what to do, which weapon to use and who to strike,” said Kheshow.

However, police said that the businessman may have been suffering from mental illness when he committed the heinous murders.

According to National police spokesman Assistant Commissioner Paul Nyathi, Kheshow suffered a “mental illness while attending an all-night prayer at a local apostolic sect shrine.”

Police officers have since recovered the weapons he used in the brutal attack which include a hoe, an axe, a kitchen knife and three spears.

The victims of the brutal attack have been identified as follows:

Mitchelle Moyo, a female juvenile aged eight of Stone Clare, Rutendo Redcliff,
Lucky Moyo, a male juvenile aged four of Stone Clare, Rutendo Redcliff,
Laretto Sikwili, a female juvenile aged four of Stone Clare, Rutendo Redcliff,
Xolani Sikwili, a male adult aged 33 of Stone Clare, Rutendo Redcliff,
Lina Moyo, a female adult aged 56 of Stone Clare, Rutendo Redcliff,
Meggie Nkiwane, a female adult aged 85 of Stone Clam, Rutendo, Redcliff.
Mercy Savanhu, a female adult aged 33 of Stone Clare, Rutendo, Redcliff.

According to the police, investigations into the matter are in full throttle.
