Namibian School Warns Parents Of “Demonic” Webpage Indoctrinating Children
A Namibian school has warned parents of a “demonic” webpage which they say is indoctrinating children into committing evil acts.
The state-owned Grootfontein Secondary School warned parents to take note of the web pages “Chucky’s Cheese Restaurant” and “FNAF – Five Nights at Freddy” to ensure that their children are not exposed to them.
In a letter dated 16 May 2022, Mr Botma, the principal at the school, said the authorities noticed that some of the children were acting strange and out of character.
The principal went on to say they discovered that the children in question came in contact with the Chucky’s Cheese Restaurant webpage.
The letter from the school warning parents to be on the lookout for the “demonic” webpages reads as follows,

RE: CHUCK’S CHEESE & FNAF
It is with great concern that we bring the following to your attention. We have noticed that some of our learners are acting strangely and out of character.
We learned that some of them came into contact with a terrible webpage called: Chucky’s Cheese Restaurant.
Here children interact with a demonic doll. At first, it is very entertaining and friendly, but after a while, the doll indoctrinates them, dares them and threatens them if they do not do certain things.
Daring them includes: strangle a friend, kill a teacher, burn your house, etc.
Chucky Cheese Restaurant was recently replaced by FNAF- Five Nights at Freddy, which is even worse.
These sites are already active in Namibia.
We urge you to please control what your child is watching on your phone, their own phone, tablets, laptops, etc.
We, as parents, are thinking they are playing an innocent game, but it is NOT. They are dared to even kill.
Please also inform your friends and other family members of this. Please contact our school Counselor with any enquiries or comments. tours faithfully
According to The Namibian, a similar occurrence happened two years back.
Earlier this month, famous South African actress and former model Ayanda Borotho warned parents to be vigilant about the content their kids consume on Youtube.
The actress, who is best known for playing the title role in the SABC 1 sitcom Nomzamo and Phumelele Zungu on Isibaya, warned of the dangers caused by some of the content on Youtube.
Ayanda revealed that some of the content on Youtube poses dangers to young kids and has demonic influences. She shared concerns about a character called Huggy Wuggy, whose viral videos are very popular.
Posting on photo sharing social media platform, Ayanda Borotho wrote,
“Please spread this to parents and guardians. Please check what your kids are watching on YouTube. I checked this out myself after my sister in law alerted me to it. You honestly don’t want your kids watching this thing. It’s disguised as a cartoon, but it’s actually just plain demonic.”
