Zanu PF makes key appointments

Zanu PF second secretary Cde Kembo Mohadi is now in charge of party affairs with the party Treasurer Cde Patrick Chinamasa taking on the reigns as the party political commissar following appointments and reassignments that were announced yesterday.
Cde Mohadi who recently stepped down from his Government duties is now fully deployed at the party’s headquarters in Harare while Cde Chinamasa replaces Cde Victor Matemadanda, who has been appointed Zimbabwe’s ambassador to Mozambique.
Meanwhile, Mashonaland West provincial chairman Cde Ziyambi Ziyambi has been appointed a Politburo member with immediate effect.
Speaking at a press conference soon after the 352 Politburo session in Harare today, Zanu PF Secretary for Information and Publicity Cde Simon Khaya Moyo said the appointments will reinvigorate the party.
“The President has announced that the Second Secretary of the Party Cde Kembo Mohadi has been re-deployed at the party headquarters on full time basis in charge of party affairs.
