Zim ,SA -UK Collabo To Fight Against Drugs

Zimbabwe Reggae Community has joined the rest of the country to fight against drugs and substance abuse after an outcry from the government and the parents over the abuse of drugs.
As Africa is to celebrating African day Zimbabwe Reggae Community is going to held a virtual on the 25th of May 2021 show that is dubbed to be a voice against drug abuse and substance abuse among the youths.
In an interview with organizers of the virtual show Elder Ras Jabulani aka Trevor Hall told Harare Live that they have joined the rest of the country and the international community to take part against drug abuse and substance abuse with is claiming life in the country.
“Currently, Zimbabwe is experiencing an alarming increase in drug-related mental health and deaths among young men. Major news outlets have reported increased drug use withdrawal symptoms, rapes, mental and physical health challenges,” Ras Jabulani said.
The Concerned Citizens Against Drugs Network of Zimbabwe and the Reggae Rasta community are jointly working together with local authorities, community-based organisations and NGOs to help eradicate the drugs and substance abuse epidemic in Zimbabwe.
“The virtue show is going to take place in Chitungwiza and we have artists that are going to come from United Kingdom and our own local artists.”
The virtual show feature local artists that includes Ras Caleb, Mannex Motsi, Dadza D, Elder Ras Jabu, Sista Kasisa, Sista Pauline, Fuzzy L, Sekuru Tozi, Jay Fari, Cello Culture, Jah Warria, Tora DJ Toxic, Prime Minister, Trojan I, Heartbeat All Stars and Band, Transit Crew, Cruxialmix Band, Selecta’s :- Eddie Muffin Star Time Supa Powa, Inno T, Munno Media and Purification Sound.
